If you are first time reader of my blog, I would like to first warn you that I don't write perfect English, so pardon me if you think that your English is better than mine. :)
Suddenly have the urge to blog.. It's been awhile since I had this kind of feeling.. Usually I blog when I have pictures to share.. Usually I blog when I have more pictures than words to say (cuz I always think that too many words are boring).. But today, I only have words, no pictures (unless I can find a proper one to end this post with)...
First maybe I should talk about myself.. Turning (how old? I suddenly lost count of my own age) 24? next month, I think that over the past 1 year, the only thing to be proud of is that I finally co-own a flat with my hubby... Okie, not that we really own the flat (there's the dreadful loan to pay each month with our CPF), but at least we're finally living on our own, learning to live life without the tender loving care of our parents..
This year, is my year (Tiger)... So far, it has been pretty smooth for me.. If I could be richer, healthier, prettier, smarter, that would of course be better.. But sadly, none of the above (haha).. I hope the rest of the year remains as smooth for me as how it started of with.. The unhappiness with my MIL was resolved during CNY when she sorta apologized to me after reunion dinner, which left me surprised, shocked, touched, heart-gone-sour, and happy. Finally it was over and there's the rainbow after the rain...
As for my Hubby dearest, he is now happily at his current employment (i hope)... Still as skinny, I wonder why had all the good food he ate gone to.. With the kind help from my sisters, we sometimes go out dating just like the old days before we had Alvis on weekends.. Catch a movie, play LAN games, prawning... Life's good. :)
Alvis baby has officially turned 2. We've both learnt alot from this little fella.. Being a parent, a mother, is so rewarding, so happy but sometimes can be a little frustrating when tantrums kicked in and fussy behaviours displayed. He can speak so well, can converse so well that often make me and Hubby surprised, pleased and definitely proud. He is now learning to sing so many songs that he almost can roughly sing every song in the CD that we always play in the car. Enjoying every minute with my nephew Javier now at my 阿姨's place, I definitely have no worries at work and am always ensured he is well-taken care of, well-fed and happy. He knows each time if he's naughty, he goes to the naughty corner. He does not goes to school yet but I believe he is learning as much as he can from his daily life, not forgetting his daily outdoor activities that sure put his energy to good use.
Ok, I'm kinda stuck here, not sure what to continue... what should I talk about?
the thoughts that were in my head just now, are now suddenly gone.. :(
It's alright, I shall blog again. this entry seems a litte.. hmm, out of place..
But, i'll be back again, with entries that make more sense.. heehee..
Maybe if you, my reader, have any request, you may leave a comment, or shout out to me in the chatbox. I will try my best to share with you if it's within my capability. :)
Life is good and comfortable.. and I will definitely do my best to make it better..

oh-oh, I forgot to add that Hubby Love is going for his annual ICT (AGAIN) this Friday for the very last time! (YAY BIG TIME)!!! If you know me very well, you'll know how much I hate ICTs.. :P But this year is the last year, so I am looking pretty forward to the parade that family members can attend.. I am excited to be able to bring Alvis baby with me to grace this event of Hubby and his camp mates.. So I have to bear with that number of miserable days Hubby will be gone to serve the nation, and after that, it'll be Yoo-Hoo!!! no more ICT!!! :P
Be sure i'll be damn whiney during his ICT week (as usual)..
Alvis baby and me will be going to seek shelter at my papa dearest's place during the ICT as it would be very troublesome for Hubby to book out every evening and book in that early every morning.. So we think that staying in would be better and since it's the last ICT already, might as well..
So, I hope I survive it.. With the help of my family members, I'm sure Alvis and myself will enjoy our stay at my 娘家.
We'll also be going for a short visiting trip this end of the month..
Leaving in a jet plane, it'll be Alvis baby's first plane flight..
We're VERY excited. Simply can't wait.
Life is good, with love. Lotsa love in it.

April 2010 - It's gonna be a good good month...
I've been looking forward to April...
March was great, but I always believe the next month will be better..
First day of April, my Alvis baby all bright and chirpy in the morning...
On the way out to go Yi-po's house... :)
Always busy with his cars and toys.. Sometimes he stands at the playmat for so long trying to make up his mind which car to bring over to play with Javier...
(but kids are kids, they do snatch among themselves sometimes.. :P )

It was Daddy's off day as well that day.. So after work, Hubby brought Alvis to come fetch me after work... We headed off to Changi Airport T3. They converted part of Carpark 3A for this kiddo rides..

Though it was a little warm at the carpark, it was a great evening spent at T3... Went for Popeyes dinner and headed home after that...
-2nd April, Good Friday-
It was long weekend, and no work on Friday!
Good thing was Hubby was working morning shift that day, thus me and Alvis baby went to town to meet Hubby after Alvis' dinner at home...
Alvis baby was happy to see Daddy.. I was of course very happy too! Love Hubby's off days and love Hubby's morning shifts.. :)

It's gonna be a good good month for us.. and nothing is gonna spoil the mood.. (not letting anyone have the chance to come create havoc and disgust me) :)
Anyway, first week of April is almost ending.. Just one more week, Hubby will be going for his ICT and papa dearest had already arranged for me and Alvis to seek refuge at his place for that week so Hubby need not rush here and there booking in and out.. I'm sure Alvis baby and me will enjoy the stay at Y-gong's place.. Wanna thank my papa dearest and my wonderful siblings first.. :)
Alvis baby and me will also be gracing Hubby's step-down parade (I hope that's what it is called, a step-down parade) on 24th April.. Looking forward to that..and of course seeing my Hubby in uniform.. haha, yea, I love to see men in uniforms! haha!
A little update on Alvis baby:
Alvis baby has been going to my 阿姨's place for a month already. He is loving the time spent there with yi-po and Javier.. Ask him every night about his day, he never fails to reply me enthusiastically that his day has been spent playing with Javier, cars and balls and cars again. Ask if he's happy, he will always nod his head. Though sometimes he does display mild "seperation anxiety" in the morning when we drop him off before heading to work, but he is always fine once we're gone out of sight and some evenings, he didn't even want to go home with us!
He can also sing a couple of songs now and I am so proud of him. He can finish singing 客人来, 三轮车, Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars in both English and Mandarin, ABC alphabets song, London Bridge is Falling Down, Happy Birthday song, Do-Re-Mi song, fully on his own clearly.. With some help, he can also sing Mary Had A Little Lamb, Rockabye Baby, and many other nursery rhymes that he listens everyday to and fro home and my 阿姨's place. He can count confidently, sometimes missing number 6, I don't know why. He can recognize almost all of Thomas the Tank Engine's friends, some of which I don't even know their names. Don't ask me how he did it, I just dont know how to explain why kids these days are so smart compared to us when we were at their age. :P
Alvis baby remembers everyone's names as much as he can. Sometimes I feel bad as I'm always testing him! haha!
I pray everyday that my boy grows tall, strong, healthy and happy...
That's all I ask for..
