Alvis' learning journey

His learning journey starts at home. :)

Though he is not receiving any formal education right now, I do whatever I can during the day whenever we have the time at home.

At 3years old now, he can communicate well and converse fluently with adults. I'm not so worried about his languages as we speak to him bilingually.

We did math activities at home this week and he never fails to please me.

I had to run in and out of the kitchen to check e soup I was boiling, he was tasked to complete no. 2 on his own and he was proud. So was I.

It may appear simple but I didn't introduce writing to him until this year. Last year was all about coloring and scribbling and more doodling. I hope he can grip that pencil firmer and have nice handwriting like his daddy and mummy.

I also hope that he will always enjoy his learning journey.

Love you, Alvis baby.

Don't really like how the photos turn out to be on the blog. Shall explore further and make the next entry looks nicer. :)

Happy Monday to all. Hope you are not feeling blue. :)

My life as a SAHM is simple, fulfilling and rewarding. In fact, I always lead a simple and happy life.

As much as I love to work, I am grateful to take a short rest to spend quality time with Alvis baby and to grow with him.

We are mostly home on days when the daddy needs to work, occasionally we will travel to town and wait for him then have dinner together.

And when we stay home, I make sure his every meal is well-prepared. That's the main purpose of eating at home - that is to eat healthy.

His dinner's must-have: SOUP

All kinds of soups:

The traditional ABC soup

Lotus roots soup

Cabbage soup

Old cucumber soup

White fungus quail egg soup

And the soup menu goes on...

He also loves macaroni:

Mee sua

And spaghetti

To me, feeding a child right is important because he is what he eats. Food plays a very important role in building a kid's mind and body. Too high in sugar food makes a child hyperactive hence leading to poor concentration, irregular mealtimes confuse a child and cultivating healthy eating habits starts young. :)

Ok, I'm testing the BlogPress app on my iPhone. :p

But of course all of the above mentioned is 100% factual.

Royce Kids

March is an important month of the year for us! :)

We celebrated, together, the kids who turned 3 this March. Gathered at Royce Kids one afternoon, everyone had great fun. Alvis enjoyed himself a lot in that 2 hours party fun!

Royce has everything Alvis loves..including C A R S!

Thanks Ivy for organizing! It was such a huge success, it was every kid's dream party. :)

Alvis loves his present he got from the gift exchange.
It was a Crayola set, he immediately unwrapped it the minute we reached home and after removing his jeans.
