Today, me and Alvis baby spent the day at home again until after his dinner, Hubby was home and we headed out! :)
Went to the "kite-flying" field that's just round the corner from our place..
We'll always bring Alvis baby there to fly kite and look at the many kites during weekends.. A pity there weren't much kites just now, I think it wasn't that windy but it was still pretty cooling..
Hair's long again, tomorrow shall try to visit the hairdresser..
Doing jumping stunts..
I told him to lift his arms up for photo-taking.. Hands were up but facial expression no enough. hee..
"mommy, can put down already?"
THUMBS UP!
Doing what flamingo does.. :) we shall visit the zoo soon with Dennis korkor..
imitating me.. :)
WEE~~
touch your backside..
H-A-P-P-Y!
I took over the camera then Hubby walked towards Alvis baby...
Just when he was posing for me...
Daddy sat him up the shoulder! :)
My favorite picture of the day..
B.L.I.S.S - what more can I ask for? <3
Running away from Daddy...
boys having fun..
"No, Daddy, No, please don't chase me!"
Having some quiet time to himself.. hee.. to take a rest maybe...
a very short rest in fact...
Ran around again..
Playing with Mommy, doing what Mommy did.. So funny. :P
finally a day to let my skin breathe.. heehee.. still 美美吗? :p
A short evening out but we enjoyed ourselves even though Alvis baby threw tantrum at Tampines Retail Park.
Went to IKEA for dinner, yums, and then to Giant to buy some necessities. It was so cute to see Alvis baby hugging his bread spread and the loaf of bread walking around the hypermart.
Long weekend has ALMOST ended. Happy times pass so fast. It's already Sunday.
I've spent quality time with Alvis baby at home these two days.. the peaceful afternoons we spent playing, reading and doing coloring at home.. Enjoyed making his nutritious meals, all the cleaning and washing I did because of the long weekend at home.
One of the few things on my to-accomplish-list, and that is to assist Alvis baby control his tantrum.. I'm sure he can express himself more with words than misbehaving.. It's gonna be just a passing phase.
On a sidenote, I'm so satisfied with Alvis baby because he can tell the story "The Ant and the Grasshopper" by Usborne. Alvis baby knows his Thomas and Friends stories by heart already but I have yet to let him try telling me those stories because they are all pretty lengthy. Usborne First Reading has got different levels for young readers. This is only level one and the sentences are all short and simple. Alvis baby remembers all the words in this book.
By the way, I am also amazed at how he remembers the lyrics of the songs we always listen on the car. I can't even remember them!! HELP~
Good job, son! Daddy says can buy more books already! heh heh heh...
*ps: images from this entry onwards will be in .jpg format instead of the previous entries in .png format. Because of the huge difference in file size and upload constraints, therefore quality of images will be compromised.

Vesak Day 2010
Today is Vesak Day, also known as Wesak day in some parts of the world, Vesak Day is one of the biggest days of the year in the Buddhist calendar and is celebrated by Buddhists all over the world. The day marks the birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha and is a day of great celebrations. It is traditional to clean the home and decorate it in preparation for the celebrations which begin before dawn and continue throughout the day with religious services, prayer meetings, meditation sessions and processions.
As there is a buddhist temple a 2-minute walk away from our home, I brought Alvis baby there last night to pray and the ritual was that all the prayers held on to this lotus candle and walked round the estate. Alvis baby and me sat by our full-length window and watched the prayers. Because it was already almost his bedtime, else we could have joined the ceremony.
Anyhow, Hubby Love was on morning shift today so me and Alvis baby spent quality time together on our own at home, playing, coloring and laze on the couch and watched a little TV. He watched Chuggington today for the first time at home and he seemed to like it very much.
After his 2.5hours of nap, we took the train and went to town to wait for the Daddy to finish work..
While waiting outside the boutique, we had fun playing something like hide-and-seek and Alvis baby was running around happily..
Playing the usuals we play while waiting for Hubby Love..
Using the pillars to play hide-and-seek...
During weekdays, we can run around quite freely, today's pretty crowded. :S
Waiting patiently for Daddy...
Taking a break from running by sitting on the super narrow window-still outside the boutique..
So grown-up
I love this pic very much :)
PLEASE LET MY DADDY OUT!!!
totally enjoying himself, just by running around.. haha
OH! Daddy is out! and he caught me!
my world's precious gems
.hearts.
Went to Heeren for dinner, I reckoned that's the least crowded mall..
True enough, it really wasn't that packed.. :)
It poured when we finished our dinner so we just walked around waiting for the rain to stop, which luckily, was pretty fast..
Took some photos at the fountain at basement and A got to run around again.. :)
I wanted to kiss Alvis baby but he was too engrossed with the water.. -.-"
RUN! RUN! RUN!
I wonder what was on his mind?
We thought this photo is pretty funny. Alvis baby's posture was so proper, behaving like a royal? haha!
The cheeky him..
LOST?
NAH!
In deep thoughts again.. haha..
Some random shots taken by Hubby. :)
