All over the place

With the new iPhone 4 camera, picture quality gets better!
AND it comes with a front camera, so easier to take pictures together with Alvis baby!
I am not very good at self-taking pictures (lack of practice maybe), so the front camera is very useful. Moreover Alvis baby is always very amused by seeing himself on the screen, and moving.

Here are some pictures taken over the last two weeks, with my new phone.
I'm so loving it. Wonder what would I be without my iPhone 4. :P

Little Chloe came over to our place on a weekend. We had fun and the two mummies ordered sinful dinner that night! Two hungry women to two regular Sarpino's Pizza. I also think we must be rrreeeallll hungry!

Mummy with Chloe on the potty, trying to poo poo after evening milk feed.
Love the way Chloe smiled and chuckled when I played with her that day. I could so tell that she loves me alot! Come over again soon, Chloe.

Photobucket

Alvis baby loves Chloe baby as well. As usual, he is always gentle and loving towards younger babies and when Chloe cries, he would be in a frantic looking for her toy butterfly to distract her. Totally heart-melting..

The messy-looking-me with Chloe baby. Love her totally.

Photobucket

Chloe, tell them you love me too! :D

The day after we got our new phones, Alvis baby was actually the one who "earned" from the whole purchase.

He got his hands on BOTH our old iPhone 3G!

Photobucket

Very busy with the apps. Both phones were running, by the way. Angry Birds on Hubby's and Flash Cards on mine.

The following photo strip was taken at the airport with Dennis on the day he returned to Jakarta.

Photobucket

We all miss you guys alot. Looking forward to the next visit!! Pray for good weather ok in your hometown ok!!

Hubby came to meet me for lunch on one weekday. I brought him to this Korean restaurant, Doong Ji, at 222 East Coast Road for some authentic Korean delicacies. Food is yummy there, service is prompt, the ambience and restaurant is clean and the price is very affordable.
They have lunch sets on weekdays too!

Photobucket

We ordered a set lunch each, Saba & BBQ chicken, plus a spinach seafood pancake. Everything was yummy, including the appetizers but we had difficulties finishing. I had to stuff the pancake down my throat cuz it was too delicious to waste. :P
(Lesson learnt: Never order too much than what you can eat!)

My dearest Dad turned 49 this year. He insisted on the number 50, being a traditional Chinese. I still rather keep that 1 extra year old for next year. :)
Though he is now a year older, he is still as charming, nice and understanding. We did not managed to celebrate on the actual day itself as he was busy, thus the cake came only 2 days after his big day.

Nonetheless, still wanna wish him a Happy 49th Birthday with great health, happiness and every other good things in abundance!

Here is Alvis baby brushing his teeth in the morning, with Daddy doing his beside him.

Proud boy. :)

中秋节:

Photobucket

and that night when we went to The Central, that was when I put the front camera function to good use and captured lots of shots with Alvis baby!

Photobucket

The quality is acceptable for a front camera. :D

My colleagues and I went to Golden Mile Complex, in search for a Thai snack.
We ended up at this Thai restaurant in the complex for lunch.
Food was fantastic!

Photobucket

Oyster Omelette, Tom Yum Soup and Phat Thai!! Happy Lunch! :D

For Phat Thai, you can help yourself to the peanut and chilli flakes! When I was placing my orders, I requested for more. The reply I got from the waiter was "oh, later i bring you, you put yourself" I was like "OH? Something new!"
The Tom Yum soup was also sedap, I will so go back to the place again even though there's this weird smell in the complex I think due to the different kinds of food they sell in the building itself. We did not managed to find what we were looking for, but bought loads of Thai snacks in the end (including many packets of Thai Lays chips). It was a good lunch, and a great lunch hour getaway!

*For those who wish to get there via public transport, take the Circle Line and alight at Nicoll Highway station.

photobucket is down currently.. to be continued again... :(

September - A Month of Family Time Part II

We went to Jacob Ballas on the day of the PH, and unfortunately, the weather wasn't in the most perfect condition and we reached there slightly late (kinda behind schedule). It was noon when we got there, thus we headed to The Chinese Box for lunch before getting ourselves into the children's garden.

I settled for HK-style big prawns noodle, some congee for Alvis baby and Hubby had fried rice with his $9 烧肉..

It was really yummy, even I thought it was good (i'm not a 烧肉 person :P )

After our sumptous lunch, which we spent quite a fair bit of time there, it was drizzling when we got to the garden and it wasn't really that comfortable to explore the place thus we only went in and took a quick walk around and then left that place and headed to town.. We got our iPhone 4 the night before so we needed to shop for screen protectors as well as casings to protect the back of the phone..

Alvis baby napped while we managed to shop at ION Epicentre, the rest of that family day was peaceful, simple and happy.. It was a great start to that long weekend! :)

On the 11th (Saturday), my cousin and her family returned back home to JKT. We met at the airport for lunch to see them off.

Javier at T3 Foodcourt.. Lufthansa flight departed at T2, went to T3 so the boys could have a go on the motor car rides after their lunch..

First to finish his lunch that day, happily playing around with Daddy while waiting for everyone else to be done..

The first time we went, he didn't know how to step on the pedal to move the car at all. That Saturday, he naturally knew what to do and could steer the wheel very well on his own without much assistance. I was impressed! :)

Went to The Central last weekend for the Mid-Autumn display.. It was crowded and the tawianese food fair was receiving very overwhelming response.. We squeezed thru the crowd and got into the mall for our dinner fix.

Alvis baby saw the light stick on sale and requested to get it. Since it was an annual affair, I bought it just for the festival.

The month is coming to an end, time really flies. Still some events coming up, looking forward.
