It was the 8th birthday that I celebrated with him..
It was the 3rd birthday that he had with Alvis baby...
It was a simple and yet joyous celebration...
It was also the first time we designed a birthday cake with our hands..
And it will also be the last time...
Not that we dislike our design (though not very artistic), but the cake tasted awful!
Will still prefer to buy from Pine Garden, the trusted bakery. Icing Room totally cannot do cakes!
So, anyway, presenting to you....
Hubby's 32nd birthday cake!!!
and Alvis baby was the happiest! Happier than the birthday boy I think. Which kid doesn't love to see birthday cake with real candles some more? haha..
He was very excited... Stood on the chair, couldn't wait!

You couldnt see Alvis baby's face here. He was actually wanting to get the candles from me to help me plant them in quick.

Counting the candles..
Finally lighting up the candles.. The birthday boy got to light the candles himself cuz I was busy with taking photos. hehe..
Then I shall let the pictures do the talking...
Wanted Hubby to make a wish before blowing out the candles (which was the usual procedure), but to Alvis baby, blowing out the candles comes right after the last word of the Happy Birthday song.
And because we knew the birthday cake should be awful, we actually didn't mind to let Alvis baby play with the birthday cake..
By chopping it up!
Happy with what Hubby got for his birthday this year...
Hope he will always be happy, healthy and to all the birthdays that we will be spending together till the end of time...
